Account Flags can be assigned to provide internal staff with more information about the user, prevent them from registering for an activity, or set them as tax-exempt. In addition, user flags can be tied to specific discounts or facility rental fees and are often utilized for non-profit/community partner discounts or fee waiver assistance programs.

Can Account Flags be tied to discounts?
Yes, user flags can be tied to specific discounts or facility rental fees, often used for non-profit or community partner discounts. If setting up a discount based on a User Flag, you will need to create a discount using the “User Flag Discount” type.
What types of flags can be created?
Flags can be used for general notification, preventing membership check-in, facility rentals, new program sign up and tax exemption. By default, user flags are set to not be visible to the public.
Can Account Flags prevent user access?
Yes, you can build flags that prevent access to new program sign ups and checking in with memberships. Additionally, you can use flags to prevent new facility rentals. Flags cannot be used to prevent signing into the Recreation Management system.
