This article will show you how to ensure that the printer sends a cash drawer kick command.
Windows 10 Instructions
Select the Windows start icon in the bottom left of the screen.
Select the Settings tab
Select Devices
Select the Printers & Scanners tab in the left menu.
Find the printer you want to configure and click on it.
Click the Manage button.
Select Printer Properties on the left.
Click the Device Settings Tab on the pop-up window.
Select Cash Drawer under Peripherals; set both cash drawers to document top.
Select OK
Click the General Tab.
Click the Print Test Page button.
Your cash drawer should open upon printing; if it does now you may need to troubleshoot cash drawer connectivity.
