Create a Volunteer Role

This article will show you how to create a Volunteer Role. Once added, roles can be assigned to participants on Volunteer Opportunities.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Activities > Volunteer Management volunteer management

  2. Select the Role Management tab role management

  3. Click Create Volunteer Role create volunteer role

  4. Fill in the fields role fields

    • Description: Name/brief description of the role

    • Color: Select a color to represent the role

      Note:

      If a color does not meet the minimum contrast to be accessible by all, a message will appear. You can click OK to continue with the color but it will not be ADA compliant. ada popup

  5. Click Save New Volunteer Role save new volunteer role

  6. Assign a Participant a Volunteer Role
