Communication Tools allow you to reach out to your customers utilizing the system to keep Users up to date on important organization operations and notifications.

Please watch the video to learn about Communication Tools. Once finished, review how to apply what you learned in the system before continuing to the next lesson.

When to Use

Some example uses of Communication Tools can include:

  • Reviewing Bulk Emails sent out to the user base or rosters to confirm receipt

  • Scheduling notifications about upcoming closures, and opening registration

  • Sending text alerts to program participants

How to Apply

While learning how to utilize Communication Tools, you may experience areas where you have questions. If you have any questions or run into issues, please keep track of them so your CivicPlus representative may address them.

Please complete the following:

Practice creating catalog notifications – be sure to set the expiration date as the next day!

Practice generating text alerts for activities and facilities.  

Note

These will not leave the system until your TRIAL Account flag has been removed.

Practice emailing customers through rosters or user Reports.
