Currently, Recreation Management uses the Installer for integration with:

  • APG Cash Drawers (USB)

  • Gatekicker (for unlocking magnetic doors)

  • ETS Chip Card Readers

Important Note

To receive the certificate at the end of downloading, you will need administrator rights to download it to your computer. If you are unsure if you have the rights/do not know who has the rights, consult your IT team.

Instructions

  1. Download the CivicRec (Recreation Management) Tray App Click Download to download the Rec Tray App

  2. Open the file and click More infowhen the file opens click More Info

  3. Select Run anywayClick Run Anyway

  4. Select NextClick Next on the CivicRec Tray App Setup Wizard

  5. Review Installation Folder settings and select NextClick Next on the Installation Folder

  6. Select Next to confirm the installationClick Next on the on the Confirm Installation page

  7. Click Close after the installation is complete Click Close on the Installation Complete page

  8. Right-click the application on your desktop and select Propertieson your desktop right-click the app and select properties

  9. Select the Compatibility tab Click the compatibility tab on the Properties page

  10. Check the box Run this program as an administrator Check the box for Run program as admin

    Note

    If you do not see this option, you do not have administrator rights. Contact your IT department to set this up for you.

  11. Click Apply Click Apply on the Compatibility tab

Common Troubleshooting Errors

When adding a new credit card terminal, you may receive an error message in the Tray App stating: Unable to log into hardware interface.

  1. Enable TLS 1.2

  2. Install TransVault 3.0 driver

  3. Install CivicRec Tray App 1.5.0
