Video Instruction
Please watch the video to learn about Renting an Item in Conjunction with a Facility Rental. Once finished, review how to apply what you learned in the system before continuing to the next lesson, Navigating the Equipment Rental Dashboard.
When to Use
This setup can be used if additional equipment can be reserved along with a Facility. Some example uses of Equipment Items that can be rented with a facility can include:
Projectors can be reserved along with a Meeting room reservation
Tennis Rackets can be reserved along with a tennis court reservation
Speakers can be rented with an event center reservation
Important Note:
In order to allow items to be rented in conjunction with a facility rental, both the rental item rate and facility rental rate must use the same unit type. For example, if a meeting room is rented per hour, the projector item fee must also be an hour unit. To turn a fee into a flat fee, utilize the Max Fee setting on the rate.
