Child Facilities are facilities that are reserved under a parent facility. Parent facilities can then be reserved under a grandparent facility.

When to Use
Parent and Child Facilities are commonly configured for:
The option to book two halves of a tennis court as under one full tennis court rental.
The option to book two Meeting rooms to make one large conference room.
How to Apply
While learning how to utilize Parent and Child Facilities, you may experience areas where you have questions. If you have any questions or run into issues, please keep track of them so your CivicPlus representative may address them.
Please complete the following:
Identify potential Parent Child Facilities
Create Parent Facilities and select the Block Child Facilities Option in the Rental Option tab
In the Child Facilities tab, choose the appropriate child facilities
Finish configuring the facility if you haven't already
Perform a test transaction and confirm the calendar is booking parent/child facilities correctly
