Food Service Module

The Food Service Module is for our organizations that run and manage a kitchen within their department. For example, if you have a kitchen at one of your facilities, staff will be able to use Recreation Management’s POS Items feature in conjunction with the Food Service Module. When a cashier sells a burger and fries, the order will pop up on the kitchen’s screen, and they will be able to process the order.

Important Note:

Contact Support to enable the Food Service Module within your Organization configuration.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Recreation Management

  2. Navigate to POS ItemsPoint of Sale items option in the left navigation menu.

  3. Expand a category Expand a category.

  4. Edit the item Edit item icon.

  5. Select the Food Service Module setting Food Service Module Setting checkbox.

    Note: When food is ordered, staff will use the Catalog and select the POS Tab to input the order. A Note.. section appears here for toppings or special instructions.

  6. Select Save POS Item Save Point of Sale item button.

  7. Orders will appear under the Functions tab, and then Food Service OrdersFunctions, Food Service orders option in left navigation menu.

    Note: This screen should be on display in the kitchen. You can see there is a Full-screen option here, as well. It will display Open Orders until they are Closed and show recently closed orders as well.View open orders and recent orders.

    • Ticket Number: The Number that is assigned to the food item so that tracking is easier

    • Transaction Number: Reference to the receipt

    • Server: Displays the name of the server/staff member who processes the transaction

    • Food Item: Displays the title of the food item, along with any notes View recently closed tickets.
