Install the eDynamo and DynaFlex Drivers for CSG Forte

This article will walk you through installing the device drivers needed to use the MagTek eDynamo or MagTek DynaFlex with CSG Forte.

  1. Download the applicable driver:

  2. Or you can navigate to CSG Forte and select Downloads, Drivers, eDynamo Windows Installer, or Dynalfex Windows InstallerDownload menu with eDynamo and Dynaflex Windows installers highlighted under Drivers.


Instructions

  1. Open the downloaded file to start running the installation

  2. Select Yes on the pop-up asking you if you want to run the installereDynamo setup window asking if the user wants to proceed with installation.

  3. Several windows will appear. On the first screen, select Next MTSCRA WEBAPI setup wizard displaying installation instructions and a 'Next' button.

  4. Select the installation Folder and select NextMTSCRA WEBAPI setup window showing installation folder selection and command prompt output.

  5. Select Next to start the installation MTSCRA WEBAPI installation confirmation screen with 'Next' button highlighted.

  6. When complete, select Close MTSCRA WEBAPI setup installation complete with a close button highlighted.

  7. In the command window, press any key, and the window will disappear Command prompt displaying commands to start an executable file and pause for input.

  8. To confirm that the driver is running in the background, go to your Windows search bar and type Services Windows search results showing 'Services' app and related options on the screen.

  9. Open the Services app and scroll down until you see MagTek Service Services window displaying MagTek SCRA WEBAAPI Host status and details.

  10. If the service is visible and running, then the driver has been successfully installed
