Limited Public User

Limited Public User is an Account type that allows users to be set up in Recreation Management but not have login access from the public page or the ability to manage their own account. This type of account is typically used for walk-up users or users that do not have an email address.

Important Note:

If public SSO is enabled for your Recreation Management application and a user has a validated CivicPlus account, and then that users account is marked as a limited public user inside Recreation Management, once the user logs back into the public side of Recreation Management their account will revert from a limited public user to a regular public user account.

Account Settings

You will see a checkbox on the user account creation screen. By checking the Limited Public User box, the email address will no longer be a required field on the account.
