SMS Agreement Text Change
To better align with SMS messaging regulations, we’ve updated the opt-in language for text messages. The dropdown now reads Consents to receive text messages instead of Can Receive text messages. Users will see one of the below confirmations pop-up when selecting this option. This change will not impact existing user selections.
When selected by a staff user form the internal side: By checking this box, I acknowledge I consent to send SMS messages from [Organization Name.] Recipients can opt out at any time to stop messaging.
When selected by a public user from the public page: By checking this box, I acknowledge I consent to receive SMS messages from [Organization Name.] These may include promotional, informational, or other updates. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Public Cancellation for Membership
We’re making it easier for you community to manage their memberships! In alignment with the FTC’s (Federal Trade Commission) Click to Cancel mandate, public users can now cancel their membership directly from their public portal under Manage Memberships - as long as this setting is enabled within the session. This update gives users more control and streamlines the cancellation process. Here’s what to expect if you enable this setting within your membership:
A receipt will be automatically generated when a membership is terminated
No refunds will be issued upon termination
All terminations will be logged with an Account Note and recorded in the Global Action Log for Transparency and tracking
