This article will outline how Recreation Management users can reserve Equipment Rental Items as part of a Facility reservation.
Important Note
For an Equipment Rental Item to be available with a facility reservation, the Rentable with a facility must be toggled on in the Rental Item. To see how to set up a rental item, read the Create and Manage an Equipment Rentals Item Article.
If a facility is selected in the equipment rental item, it will only show available for reservation with that facility.
If only a location is selected and the facility is left blank, it will be available at all the facilities at that location.
Instructions
Log in to Recreation Management
Navigate to the Catalog tab

Navigate to the Catalog tab that contains your Facility

Select the Location and Facility

Add the Renter Account to the Reservation

Use the Calendar to select the dates for the reservation

Select the Time for the reservation

Click Add to Cart

As a part of the Checkout process, the Available Equipment Rentals for that facility will display

If multiple quantities can be reserved, you can update the amount you wish to rent by clicking the Requested Quantity column and entering the desired number.

To add an Equipment Rental Item to the reservation, click Add to Cart next to the item name

Click Remove from Cart to undo the selection

Click Continue to proceed with the checkout process and complete any other prompts, waivers, or add-ons as needed.

On the Payment Screen, you will see the line items for the Equipment Rental items in the cart, along with the facility reservation

Add the payment method and click the Complete Transaction button

You will see your facility reservation and equipment on your receipt.
