Update QZ Tray

In order to update the QZ Tray for your Receipt Printer, you will have to uninstall your current version and upload the new version directly from the QZ Tray site.

Instructions

1. On your computer, search for and select the Control Panel 

2. Select Uninstall a Program 

3. Select the QZ Tray option

4. Right-click and select Uninstall

5. Click Uninstall on the pop-up screen 

6. Click Close to exit the install window 

7. Navigate to the QZ Site

8. Select V2.2.4 or an older version and download the .EXE file  

   Note

   Our platform officially supports versions up to 2.2.5 of the QZ Tray App. While you may choose to use versions above 2.2.5, please note that they are not officially supported and may not be fully compatible. Proceed with newer versions at your discretion.

9. Open the downloaded file and click the Next Button

10. Click the Install button

11. Click Close once the installation is complete

    Note

    If your printer does not work after your installation, restart your printer. If that does not work, restart your computer.
