# Update QZ Tray

In order to update the **QZ Tray** for your **Receipt Printer,** you will have to uninstall your current version and upload the new version directly from the QZ Tray site.

## Instructions

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Navigate to the [QZ Site](https://github.com/qzind/tray/tags)
8. > 
> Our platform officially supports versions up to 2.2.5 of the QZ Tray App. While you may choose to use versions above 2.2.5, please note that they are not officially supported and may not be fully compatible. Proceed with newer versions at your discretion.
9. 10. 11. Click **Close** once the installation is complete

> If your printer does not work after your installation, restart your printer. If that does not work, restart your computer.
