# Additional Notifications Within a Request Category

Within each [Request Category](/seeclickfix/docs/add-new-request-categories), there is a field that can help other members of a team be alerted to a new Request, but not be assigned the Request.

**Additional Notifications** is a tool that will send out an email to each email address listed in the field when a new Request is submitted using that Request Category. Think of this field as a CC: field when sending an email; the person who is CC'd is not required to respond to the email, but the email is being sent to them for their information.

## Add Multiple Email Addresses

To add multiple email addresses, simply separate each email address entered by a comma. The emails added to this field can be any email address you wish. The email address does not need to be associated with a member of the organization.

**Example**: email1@gmail.com, email2@gmail.com, email3@gmail.com
