Search for Deleted Records

Records requests for deleted records are increasingly common. Fortunately, it is easy to search for and pull those records; records deleted on all social networks are automatically tagged in our system. System admins can also apply tags to records within the archive.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Search tab:The Search tab in the header menu.

  2. Click Advanced Search:Advanced Search tab.

  3. Choose the desired Date Range for the search:The Date Range drop-down.

  4. Select a Content-Type:Select a Content Type logo from the list.

    Note:

    By default, all the content types are selected. You can pick specific categories by clicking the social media icon and picking each content type you want to search, or click Clear and select the specific content types from there:The Clear link under the Content Types section.

  5. Under Search Terms, click the first drop-down menu to select the Tag option, the second drop-down to select is, and in the third drop-down menu, select deleted:Search terms section of the advanced search detail with tag, is, and deleted in the dropdown menus.

  6. Click Search:Search button on the Advanced Search page.
