Basemap Updates
As of January 14th, 2026, we have retired all our Bing and OpenStreetMap background options. These items will no longer show as options in any map legend. We have consolidated our background options under ESRI, which were released previously. For more information, please view the December 17th, 2025 Asset Management Release Notes.
Here is a list of direct replacements:
Bing Hybrid was replaced with Esri Imagery
Bing Dark was replaced with Esri Dark Gray
Bing Roads was replaced with Esri Streets
Map Search Updates
We have reworked our geocoding services to leverage ESRI location services. Our map search supports:
Searching by address
Searching by intersection
Searching within the boundary of system map settings
