Released Enhancements
New Background Options with Esri Basemaps
We are adding 7 new background options powered by ESRI Location Services. These new backgrounds, also known as basemaps, will provide better context for your asset tracking by allowing you to explore streets, satellite imagery, and topography of your geographic area.
The new options are:
Esri Community
Esri Dark Gray
Esri Hillshade
Esri Imagery
Esri Outdoor
Esri Streets
Esri Topographic
Note:
Microsoft has announced the retirement of Bing Maps in 2028. As such, we will be removing Bing Maps from Asset Management on a future date. Our chosen replacement are the 7 new Esri basemaps. Here is a list of the direct replacements:
Bing Hybrid will be replaced with Esri Imagery
Bing Dark will be replaced with Esri Dark Gray
Bing Roads will be replaced with Esri Streets
