State Plane Coordinate Entry
Enter coordinates the way your team already works. Most asset data is entered in WGS 84, the global standard of latitude and longitude. But many local governments survey and map in their state plane coordinate system, which is more accurate within a specific region. Now you can enter point-based asset locations using your preferred state plane system, with no manual conversion needed. It's a small change that saves real time and keeps your field data accurate. Contact your implementation consultant or CivicPlus Support, tell them which coordinate system you use, preferably the name or EPSG code, and we will set it up for you. View the State Plane Coordinate Entry article for more information.
