Add and Edit Events

Adding or editing an Event is the same across all asset classes. The types of Events available will vary based on the asset class. For example, Events available for a water valve may differ from those available for a tree or a trail segment.

Important Notes

  • Shown fields are dependent on the Event Type.

  • Not all Events have a details tab.

Add an Event

  1. Sign In to Asset Management

  2. Click Add Event
    Add Event button.

  3. Select an Event Type
    Event type options.

  4. Add Event Details
    Event details text input fields.

  5. Click the Save button
    Save button.

Edit an Event

  1. Sign In to Asset Management

  2. Search for the Asset

  3. Click the Properties tab, if necessary
    Properties tab in an Asset.

  4. Click on an event
    An event in the events table.

  5. Edit the event’s details as needed
    Event details fields.

  6. Click the Save button
    Save button.

Quick Edit

You can Quick Edit an event from the Query screen.

  1. Sign In to Asset Management

  2. Click the Query tab
    Query tab in Asset Management.

  3. Locate your event

  4. Click Quick Edit for the event
    Quick Edit button in the Events table.

  5. Edit the event’s details as needed
    Event details fields.

  6. Click the Save button
    Save button.d
