Add an Event

The process of adding an Event is the same across all asset classes, providing a consistent and user-friendly experience. However, the types of Events available to select from will vary depending on the asset class. For example, Events available for a water valve may differ from those available for a tree or a trail segment.

Important Notes

  • Shown fields are dependent on the Event Type.

  • Not all Events have a details tab.

How to Add an Event

  1. Sign in to your solution

  2. Click the Add Event button in the bottom right of the asset screen:

  3. Select an Event Type from the prompt:

  4. You can add more details in the identification, such as status, link a Work Order, include details, and scheduling details:

  5. Click the Save button
