With CardPointe you can:

  • Add a payment method outside of a transaction for e-commerce (not EMV or ACH)

  • Save a payment method when checking out through e-commerce or in-person (both card-present and card-not-present)

  • Save bank accounts (ACH) inside a transaction

Store a Card During Checkout

Cards can be saved while completing a transaction. The user will see the payment form which asks for the Card Number, Expiration Date, and CVV. It also includes the amount owed. Behind the scenes, CardPointe will store the payment information for future use.

Store a Card Outside of a Transaction (E-Commerce)

It is possible for users to store an e-commerce payment method outside of a transaction. The form is very similar to when saving a payment method during a transaction. The only difference is that the button will say "Save" instead of "Pay" and there is no amount owed. The Card Number, Expiration Date, and CVV fields remain the same.

Note: EMV and ACH payments cannot be stored outside of a transaction at this time.
