CSG Forte Card Present Transactions

This article will show you what it looks like to do a chip-read or card-swipe transaction with CSG Forte and the MagTek eDynamo.

Instructions

1. Prepare for payment

2. Insert the card into the top of the device with the chip on the left

3. The payment form should automatically update with the card’s information.

4. Click Next

5. Click Authorize

Swipes

If the eDynamo fails to read a chip 3 times, it will fall back to doing a swipe. You will be presented with a prompt to perform a magnetic stripe read.

Follow the prompts to complete the payment.
