Global Payments Integrated EMV/Hardware Setup Guide

The purpose of this guide is to explain how to install the required software to process payments on the Recreation Management side with EMV machines, using CivicPlus Payments and Global Payments Integrated. View the list of recommended Gateway Hardware.

Instructions

  1. Download the RCM Software version for your Operating System. The setup instructions are identical between Windows and MacOS.

  2. Follow the installation instructions Install RCM.

  3. After installation, reboot your computer

  4. Search for and select the RCM Search for RCM on your computer.

  5. View the RCM green and blue icon in the bottom right tray RCM Tray Icon.

  6. Navigate to the Device ManagerDevice Manager in search results.

  7. Ensure that your device is plugged in through the USB; view a listing of it in the Device ManagerDevice Manager list of devices.

    Note: If you cannot see it, click View at the top and select Devices by container.View menu with Devices by container selected.

  8. Note the COM port for the device

  9. Right-click on the bottom right-tray RCM icon and select Device Configuredevice configure option.

  10. Select the model of your device from the top drop-down and ensure that you choose the model that contains the label US EMV if your machine uses chip cards PIN Pad Device drop-down.

  11. Select your COM port. This can be found in the Device Manager. COM Port field.

    Note: If there is no COM port listed, please reach out to administration.

  12. Click OKOK button.

  13. You can now Test your device Test button on Device Setup window.

    Note: If the Test button isn't working, select the Load Forms to Device and Load Settings to Device buttons and then try testing the device again. Load Settings to Device and Load Forms to Device buttons on Device Setup window.

Additional Recreation Steps

  1. To test a checkout through Recreation Management, Create a POS Item for $1.00

    Note: Click the Continue Payment Button to process the transaction.Continue to payment button on the Recreation checkout screen.

  2. The device should now respond and indicate a swipe or card insert request; follow the prompts on the pin pad
