This article walks through how to set up an integration between the Mass Notification and the HCMS in Integration Hub.
Important Notes
When setting up the integration, you can choose to automatically publish the alert in the HCMS or have it start in Draft status.
HTML formatting will not be brought over from Mass Notification and will appear as plain text in the HCMS.
Instructions
Navigate to the Integrations tab in the Integration Hub
Select + New Integration
Click the Simple integration card
Add a Short Description of the integration
Select Mass Notification as the Trigger and HCMS as the Action
Select the Application for the trigger and action
Select the applicable Credentials for each application
Select Alert Sent from the Trigger Type drop-down and choose the Group from your Mass Notification instance that you wish to use when triggering an alert
Select the HCMS Content Type you wish to add the alert to
Click Next
Map fields from Mass Notification to the HCMS as needed by dragging and dropping the tiles or typing directly into the field
Note: The available Mass Notification fields may differ depending on your custom alert form.
Status: Choose whether to automatically publish the content in the HCMS or have it start in Draft status
Notify Users: If the status is set to Published, you can choose whether or not to send a notification when the alert is triggered. If you want to send a notification, fill out the email/SMS message information.
Click Next
View an Overview and Test Instructions for your integration
Click Save
Enable your integration using the toggle under the Status column
Now that the integration is set up, you can send an alert in Mass Notification
The alert will then be sent to the specified HCMS Content Type
