Online Code Hosting and Central Search Integration

The Online Code Hosting to Municipal Websites Central Search Results Integration adds hyperlinks to the search results pages of your online code and municipal website. These hyperlinks allow you to search your online code from your municipal website and to search your website from the code library. This article will show you how to use the Online Code Hosting to Municipal Websites Central Search Results Integration.

Important Note

  • You must use Online Code Hosting and have a Municipal Websites Central site to use this integration. If you are interested in using Municipal Websites Central, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to get started.

  • If you were a Municipal Websites Central and Online Code Hosting customer on or before May 25, 2022, this integration has already been activated for you. All other customers should contact Support to have this integration enabled and configured.

Search Your Municipal Websites Central Site from the Code Library

  1. Navigate to your online code:A sample code of ordinances from Alabaster, Alabama on the home screen.

  2. Enter the desired search term or terms into the Search or jump to box and press Enter on your keyboard:The Search or Jump to field on the toolbar is highlighted.

  3. Click Search Municipal Website:

Search Your Online Code from Your Municipal Websites Central Site

  1. Navigate to your municipal website

  2. Enter the desired search term or terms into the Search box and press Enter on your keyboard:A Central website's Search field is highlighted.

  3. Click the Municipal Code tab:The Search results screen with the Municipal Code tab highlighted.

  4. View the search results pulled from your online code based on your website search:The search results screen having been filtered to Municipal Code results.
