Important Note:

Parcel IDs may be edited. However, this should be done with extreme care, as the original Parcel ID may not be used again once it has been edited. Additionally, replacing a Parcel ID will impact all records associated with the parcel, if applicable.

Edit a Parcel ID

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Go to Asset Management, expand Property Management, and select Search:Community Development - Elevate, Property Management, Search.

  3. Search for your Parcel:Community Development - Elevate - Property Management, Search.

  4. In the search results, find the property you are looking for. Then click the Edit Record icon under Action:Community Development - Elevate - Edit Parcel, Edit Record Button.

  5. Click on the Replace Parcel ID icon next to the current Parcel ID, which is greyed out:Community Development - Elevate - Replace Parcel ID Button.

  6. This will bring up the Replace Parcel ID window. This contains a reminder that the action you are about to take is irreversible and will impact all records associated with the parcel:Community Development - Elevate - Replace Parcel ID, Warning popup window.

  7. Enter your new Parcel ID in the New Parcel ID field:Community Development - Elevate - Replace Parcel ID, New Parcel ID.

  8. Click on the Update Parcel ID button:Community Development - Elevate - Replace Parcel ID, Update Parcel Button.

    Important Note:

    This will trigger a second warning. This process cannot be undone once you update the Parcel ID, and you may not reuse the original Parcel ID. It will also impact all records associated with the parcel:

    Important warning message about irreversible action on parcel ID replacement confirmation.

  9. Click Yes:Community Development - Elevate - Replace Parcel ID, Second Warning Yes.

  10. Once the Parcel ID has been successfully updated, it will reflect on the Parcel record:
    Community Development - Elevate - Replace Parcel ID, Updated Parcel.

    Note:

    If the newly entered Parcel ID exists or has been used in the past, you will receive an error.
