Important Note:
Parcel IDs may be edited. However, this should be done with extreme care, as the original Parcel ID may not be used again once it has been edited. Additionally, replacing a Parcel ID will impact all records associated with the parcel, if applicable.
Edit a Parcel ID
Sign in to your site
Go to Asset Management, expand Property Management, and select Search:
Search for your Parcel:
In the search results, find the property you are looking for. Then click the Edit Record icon under Action:
Click on the Replace Parcel ID icon next to the current Parcel ID, which is greyed out:
This will bring up the Replace Parcel ID window. This contains a reminder that the action you are about to take is irreversible and will impact all records associated with the parcel:
Enter your new Parcel ID in the New Parcel ID field:
Click on the Update Parcel ID button:
Important Note:
This will trigger a second warning. This process cannot be undone once you update the Parcel ID, and you may not reuse the original Parcel ID. It will also impact all records associated with the parcel:
Click Yes:
Once the Parcel ID has been successfully updated, it will reflect on the Parcel record:
Note:
If the newly entered Parcel ID exists or has been used in the past, you will receive an error.
