Edit Failed Login Attempts on an Account

This article will show you how to adjust how many failed login attempts can be on an account before you are locked out.

Important Note

The default number of attempts is set to 10. There can be no more than 10 attempts or fewer than 3.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Community Development

  2. Navigate to Admin Tools:Admin Tools section.

  3. Select Organization Settings:Organizational Settings option.

  4. Select Program Settings:Program Settings option.

  5. Next to the line item Max Unsuccessful Login Attempts, adjust the number to your desired number of attempts:Max Unsuccessful Login Attempts.

  6. Once finished, click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the Organizations Settings Page:Save Settings Button.
