More Options for Cloning Permits
We've added new ways to copy a permit. You can now choose to make an exact copy of a permit for the same property or copy it to a different property. You will now have two options:
Option 1: Populate the new permit with fields from the parcel. When this option is selected, you will have the ability to search for a property. Fields from the property will be used to populate the permit, even if blank.
Option 2: Populate the new permit with fields from the source permit. This will make a direct clone of the permit. You can also use this option if you want to preserve all the fields but only want to swap out the parcel. After saving the permit, you can then make the swap.
Citizen-Submitted Complaints Can Be Reassigned
In the past, when a complaint was submitted from the public portal, the only option that could be selected was for a parcel complaint. Once a complaint type was assigned, it couldn't be changed. This caused issues when a complaint was of a different type. The four main types are parcel, person, contractor/business, or vehicle. With this update, you will now be able to reassign the main type, and the required fields for that type will appear and will need to be filled before saving.
