Released Enhancements

Security Enhancement - Ability to Lock Accounts After Too Many Failed Login Attempts

To prioritize security, we have enabled the ability to lock an account after too. many failed login attempts. This is in line with standard security practices.

When a user exceeds the number of attempts granted, they will receive a message that says, Locked Due to Too Many Unsuccessful Logins. In this case, the user will need to use Forgot username? or Forgot password? links to regain access to their account.

Add a License Point Layer to your Mapping System

If you use a GIS (Geographic Information System), you can add your own map points in your map settings. You do this by connecting to a CSV file. This file must have latitude (lat) and longitude (long) numbers. Also, you can add layers that show information from the Community Development system. This includes things like permits, projects, and complaints. You add these layers by linking back to the system. We have now added the option to add a link back to the Licensing system.

Licenses will be shown if they are open and are associated with a parcel that has a see Lat and Long.

To see how to set up a new Layer on a map view, our Add a New Point Layer to a Map Article.

New System Role for Invoice Manager

We've added new ways to give users, groups, and departments the power to edit invoices and take payments. In the past, users got this access automatically if they were part of a department named "Finance." Now, all existing Finance departments will automatically get this new role. However, moving forward, container administrators will need to directly give access to edit invoices to specific users, groups, or departments.

On a user, group, or department, you will now see an additional option for Invoice Manager.
