Set Up Occupancy Tables

Occupancy tables can be used to calculate the project cost inside a permit using ICC’s (International Code Council) occupancy and construction classes. You can also alternatively add your own occupancy tables. Once added, you can use occupancy tables to calculate project values.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Admin Tools and select Database Management:The admin tools menu highlighting database management and scheduling options for user management.

  4. Select Occupancy Fee Tables in the right panel:Form fields for occupancy fees and calculation types in a software interface. The occupancy fee tables button is highlighted.

  5. Click the Add Table button:The occupancy tables list with an option to add a new table at the bottom.

  6. Name your table and add any Multipliers, if necessary:A form for adding an occupancy table with required fields and occupancy class options.

  7. For each combination of the occupancy class and construction class, you can add the rate:A table listing occupancy classes and corresponding IBC and IRC building types.

    Note:

    Use this table to enter the construction cost per square foot for each Occupancy Class and Construction Type. When selected on a permit, the system will use these rates to calculate the project value from the entered square footage.

  8. Select Create:A table displaying various residential and storage categories. The create button is highlighted.
