Tax Parcel Update

This article shows how to update your parcel database in Community Development.

Important Notes

  • The user must be a container administrator to access the import area.

  • Ensure the columns (fields) are in the same order as the last file uploaded. This was configured by your implementation consultant during the initial system configuration.

  • The fields in the CSV file have already been matched to the parcel table fields and do not need to be changed. The CSV file used for the import must keep the columns in the exact order set up with your Implementation Consultant.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Download the file from the assessment software using a CSV to your local drive

  3. Navigate to Admin Tools and select Organizational Settings:Menu navigation, highlighting Admin Tools and Organizational Settings.

  4. Scroll down and click Parcel Import:Menu options include Parcel Import, Building Import, and other management settings. The parcel import option is highlighted.

  5. Click Choose File and select the CSV file from your computer:A server configuration area for importing parcels with file upload options and settings. The choose file button is highlighted.

  6. In the Server File Name field, type in the exact name of the CSV file:A server configuration area for importing parcels with file upload options and URLs.

  7. Click the Save Settings button:A server configuration area for parcel import with options to download CSV and save settings.

  8. Do not continue until the system has fully saved your changes

  9. Scroll down and click the Import button:A settings interface with fields for importing data, with the 'Import' button highlighted.

    Note:
    The import can take several minutes.
