Tax Parcel Update

This article shows how to update your parcel database in Community Development.

Important Notes

  • The user must be a container administrator to access the import area.

  • Ensure the columns (fields) are in the same order as the last file uploaded. This was configured by your implementation consultant during the initial system configuration.

  • The fields from the CSV have previously been matched to our parcel table fields, and they do not need to be updated. Specifically, the spreadsheet (CSV) used for the import must have the columns (fields) in the exact order configured with your implementation consultant.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Download the file from the assessment software using a CSV to your local drive

  3. Navigate to Admin Tools and select Organizational Settings:Admin tools and Organizational settings.

  4. Scroll down and click Parcel Import:Parcel import option.

  5. Click Choose File and select the CSV file from your computer:Choose file option for selecting your CSV file.

  6. In the Server File Name field, type in the exact name of the CSV:Server file name field.

  7. Click the Save Settings button:Save settings button.

  8. It is critical to wait until the system commits the save action

  9. Scroll down and click the Import button:Import option to complete your work.

    Note:
    The import can take several minutes.
