View on Map
Sign in to your site
Go to Asset Management, expand Property Management, and select Search
Search for the parcel
In the search results, locate the property and click on the Edit Record icon under Actions
Click on the View Map button.
Note
The View Map button only appears in the top right corner if you have a GIS integration and these fields have correct values: GIS, Lat, LONG. All three of these fields appear in the Property Details section on the parcel.
You are now in the Mapping System view, and can zoom in to the selected parcel. Many features can be used on this screen for more details
Search: You can search by fields that you set up in your settings, typically, these are parcel IDs (identification) or addresses. You can also toggle between which layer you want to search.
Legend and Visible Layers: By default, all layers are shown, and their visibility is set based on your settings. You can toggle layers off and on by clicking the 'eye'.
Parcel Card: You can click on individual polygons, lines, and points to get additional information. For example, if you click on a parcel, the parcel card will show.
The Parcel button is a shortcut to the parcel record within Property Management.
Zooming: In the top-left corner, you will find the zoom icons. Use the + to zoom in, and the - to zoom out. You can also use the scroll on your mouse.
Hide the Legend: Use the toggle panel icon to hide and unhide the legend. This can free up visible space on the map when you have many layers in your legend.
Measuring: Use the measure icon to measure a single distance or an area of the map.
Recenter the View: If you want to return to the start, default latitude and longitude, click the Recenter the View icon.
Switch to Satellite View: You can change the base map by clicking the Toggle Base Map button.
