This article shows you how to add documents and photos to a parcel. You can upload files like agreements, reports, site pictures, or delivery images. This helps you manage your records. It also makes it easy to find all parcel information quickly. All data about a parcel will be stored and organized in one place.

Upload Documents to a Property

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Go to Asset Management, expand Property Management, and select Search: Community Development dashboard. The Asset Management and Property Management menu is selected. Search under Property Management is highlighted.

  3. Search for the property: Property Management page. Breadcrumbs show Home, Asset Management, Property Management, and Search. Heading reads Search All Property Entries. Search bar for property entries is highlighted.

  4. In the search results, locate the property and click on the Edit Record icon under Actions:Search results page. An Edit Record icon in the Action column is highlighted.

  5. Click on Select File, located in the Property Location Information section: Property Location Information section is shown. A Select File button is highlighted.

    • The file selector for your device will appear, and you can select the document you want to upload.

  6. Uploaded files will appear below the Select File and Camera icons:  A selected file named Test Document dot doc is shown below the Select File and Camera icons. The file name and associated icons are highlighted.

  7. You can use your device's camera to take and upload a photo. Click on the Camera icon. You may need to give permission to your device to move forward: Property Location Information section is shown. A camera icon is highlighted.

  8. Click Take Snapshot: Capture window is shown. A blank camera view is present. The Take Snapshot button is highlighted.

  9. Click Save Snapshot: Capture window is shown. A snapshot image is visible. The Save Snapshot button is highlighted.

  10. Uploaded photos will appear below the Select File and Camera icons: Select File and Camera icons are shown. A newly added snapshot file is highlighted.

    • You have the option to add a description to your uploaded file or photo. Click on the toggle arrow icon to expand the description field: File entry for Test Document dot doc is shown. The toggle arrow icon to expand the description field is highlighted.

    • You have the option to download the file or photo. Click on the Download icon: File entry for Test Document dot doc is shown. The download icon is highlighted.

    • You have the option to delete the file or photo. Click on the red X: File entry for Test Document dot doc is shown. The red X delete icon is highlighted.

    • Below the description field, you can view the File Type and the Upload Date:Select File and Camera icons are shown. A file entry for Test Document dot doc is expanded to show a description field. The file type and upload date are highlighted.

  11. Click Update Record to save your changes: A document upload section is shown. A file named Test Document dot doc has an expanded description field. Below the description, the file type and upload date are visible. An Update Record button is highlighted.
