Accepting Cards Online
You can accept card payments through the public-facing side of the CivicPlus software. Your residents will be able to go through a secure hosted payment form, where they will be able to send a payment.

Accepting In-Person Card Payments
To accept in-person payments:
You’ll need a supported payment device
Transactions can be chip (EMV), swipe, or tap (contactless)
Your device must be registered and configured
Once it’s configured, you can initiate in-person transactions for your residents through the CivicPlus software
Tips for Secure & Smooth Transactions
Encourage customers to insert or tap instead of swiping
Avoid manually keying in card numbers when possible
Ensure the internet and device connection are stable during transactions
Enable AVS and CVV checks to reduce fraud
