Released Enhancements

Rich Text Formatting

Admins can now use rich text formatting, including bold, italics, underlining, hyperlinks, and emojis, in CivicPlus Agent Welcome, Fallback, and Greeting messages. These updates make resident-facing conversations clearer, more engaging, and easier to navigate.

Overview of chat experience messages including welcome, fallback, and greeting messages.

Bring Important Messages to Life

Give residents a more polished experience by formatting the messages they see when they begin a conversation or need additional guidance.

  • More expressive messaging: Apply bold, italic, underline, hyperlinks, and emojis to your Welcome Message, Fallback Message, and Greeting.

    • Tip: Use hyperlinks within fallback messages to direct residents to specific external, internal, or intranet resources for additional support.

  • Consistent resident experience: Formatting is saved with your configuration and rendered in the agent’s responses, helping key information stand out.

Built for Admin Control

Rich text editing is available where admins control the agent’s resident-facing copy, with character limits reflected in the editor.

  • Accessible by design: Text color remains system-default based to support contrast standards.

  • Clear content limits: Character counters help admins keep messages within the supported limits.

These updates give admins more control over how CivicPlus Agent communicates, making resident interactions clearer, friendlier, and easier to follow.
