Set a Payment Field as Not Required in Converge

This article will show you how to make fields not required in Converge. This can help solve errors such as “The field Address1 (ssl_avs_address) required but not supplied in the authorization request.”

Instructions

1. Log in to Converge

2. Navigate to Settings and select Payment Fields

3. Scroll down to the Order Section and the Billing Address sections, any fields with red asterisks are currently required

4. Click the pencil icon next to a field you wish to modify

5. Uncheck the Required Field option

6. Click Update

7. Select Save

8. Click the Terminal drop-down at the top to navigate to another terminal

9. Repeat steps 3 to 7 on each terminal, as needed
