Set Your EMV Device to USB Mode for Converge

The CivicPlus Payments integration with Converge EMV devices uses USB mode. You must set your device to USB mode in order to use it with CivicPlus Payments.

Note: Do not follow the instructions for communication using IP. We are integrated to use USB only.

Instructions

  1. Unplug your device and plug it back in, the device will boot Ingenico iSC Touch 250 EMV device, startup screen. Ingenico iSC Touch 250 EMV device, TSA 0310 boot screen. Ingenico iSC Touch 250 EMV device, on screen.

  2. When the device gets to the screen that says Retail Base quickly press the numbers 2-6-3-4 and then the green Enter button Ingenico iSC Touch 250 EMV device enter button.

    Note:

    You have two seconds to complete this step.

  3. The screen will update Ingenico iSC Touch 250 EMV device update screen.

  4. When you see Press + for Menu press the + (plus) button Press plus for menu.

  5. The menu should load Menu load screen.

  6. Use your finger to scroll on the screen and select TDAMenu screen TDA.

  7. Select option 0 for Configuration and press the green Enter button Zero button for configuration.

  8. Select 0 for Communication and press the green Enter button Zero button for communication.

  9. Select 0 for Select Comm. TypeZero button for select communication type.

  10. Select 4 for USB <> Serial Conv. and press the green Enter button Four button for USB serial converter.

  11. Hold and press the - (minus) and Clear key at the same time to reboot  Minus and clear to reset.
