Install the eDynamo Drivers for CSG Forte

This article will walk you through installing the device drivers needed in order to use the MagTek eDynamo with CSG Forte. View CSG Forte's documentation.

Note

Although CSG Forte's documentation states that you can use older versions of Windows, you cannot. Windows 10 is the only version supported. 

 

Download Links

  1. You can download the driver directly
  2. Or you can navigate to CSG Forte and select Downloads > Drivers > eDynamo Windows Installer 
    Forte website, downloads menu, drivers, eDynamo Windows Installer.

 

Instructions

  1. Open the downloaded file to start running the installation
  2. Select Yes on the pop-up asking you if you want to run the installer
    eDynamo set up pop-up, yes button.
  3. Several windows will appear. On the first screen, select Next 
    next.
  4. Select the installation Folder and select Next
    installation folder.
  5. Select Next to start the installation
    next confirm installation.
  6. When complete, select Close
    eDynamo driver installation pop-up, close button.
  7. In the command window, press any key and the window will disappear 
    Forte App Data, user command window.
  8. To confirm that the driver is running in the background, go to your Windows search bar and type Services 
    windows search services.
  9. Open the Services app and scroll down until you see MagTek Service
    Services window MagTek driver.
  10. If the service is visible and running, then the driver has been successfully installed
