Delete a Workflow Step

This article will show you how to remove a step from a workflow in the HCMS (Headless Content Management System).

 

Important Note

  • Deleting a step will also remove the status as a transition from other steps on the workflow and you will be unable to use this status on the workflow.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Settings and select Workflows in the secondary navigation menu:
    Settings tab in left navigation with Workflows selected in secondary menu.
     
  2. Click the gear icon next to the Workflow you wish to edit:
    Gear icon next to workflow.
  3. Select the Delete button (trash can icon) next to the step you wish to remove:
    Trash can icon next to workflow step.
     
    Note: This will also remove this status as a transition on other steps on the workflow and you will be unable to use this status on this workflow.
