Add Web Open Credentials

The CivicPlus Organization service supports the storage and access of Application Credentials for Web Open (formerly, CivicEngage Open). The credentials enable Portal, Integration Hub, and other products to integrate with Web Open.

 

Important Note

You can create more than one credential for an application/product. However, CivicPlus Portal will use the first created credential.

 

Who can use this feature?
Organization Owners

 

Instructions

  1. Sign in to CivicPlus Organizations
  2. Navigate to the Applications tab
    Applications tab in left navigation menu.
  3. Select Actions and then Manage Credentials next to your Web Open application
    Manage Web Open credentials.
  4. Click New Credential
    New Web Open credential.
  5. Fill out the credential fields:
    Web Open credential fields.
    • Name: Add a name for the credential (Example: Web Open Credential)
    • Client ID and Client Secret: Enter the Client ID and Client Secret for your site. If you need help finding these, please contact Support. 
    • Scopes: Select if this credential should be used to create meetings and/or get forms in CivicPlus Portal
  6. Click Save
    Save Web Open credential.
