Changes to Sign-In Procedure Coming August 10, 2026
Starting August 10, 2026, Agenda and Meeting Management Essential users will sign in through the CivicPlus Authentication service CivicPlus Single Sign-On.
This enhancement provides a more secure and consistent sign-in experience across CivicPlus products while simplifying account management. This change only affects how you sign in. Your customer data, workflows, permissions, and history will remain unchanged.
What to Expect
If you already use CivicPlus Authentication with another CivicPlus product:
You will sign in with your existing CivicPlus Single Sign-On credentials. No additional setup is required.
If you do not already have CivicPlus Single Sign-On credentials:
No action is required before August 10, 2026. The first time you sign in on or after that date:
You will be prompted to check your email for a verification link
Follow the link to create your password and complete your one-time account setup
Once setup is complete, you can continue signing in with your new credentials

Important Notes
If your organization currently uses the Microsoft sign-in option, you will sign in using your email address through the new CivicPlus Authentication process. If you would like to continue using Microsoft or another identity provider (IdP), contact Support to learn about configuring a custom IdP.
If your organization already uses a custom IdP with another CivicPlus product, CivicPlus Authentication will automatically detect your email address and redirect you through your existing IdP.
