Create and Manage Custom Views

In the Analytics module, the main data display is called a view. The Analytics module will present a generic default view to which you can add filters and data fields to create custom reports. This article will show you how to create, edit, and delete Custom Views.

Create a Custom View

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the Analytics module:The Analytics module button in the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Click the Views dropdown and select a Standard View from the list, if desired:The Views dropdown menu with the Standard Views options highlighted.

  4. Click the Filters button to add filters, if desired:The white, rectangular Filters button below the Support button.

    1. Click the Add Filter button:The white, rectangular Add Filter button below the View menu.

    2. Type or select a Data Field from the dropdown list:The Select Data Field input box and dropdown menu.

    3. Type or select a Condition from the dropdown list:The Select Condition input box and dropdown menu.

    4. Type or select a Meeting Type from the dropdown list, if applicable:The Select Meeting Type input box and dropdown menu.

    5. Click the Apply button:The gray, rectangular Apply button below the filter dropdown menus.

  5. Click the Data Fields button to add custom data fields to your view, if desired:The white, rectangular Data Fields button which appears to the right of the Filters button.

    1. Select the desired category on the left side of the Edit Columns modal:Data field categories which can be clicked to display lists of related data field checkboxes.

    2. Check the checkboxes next to the Data Fields (columns) you desire to add to your view:image(60)

      Note:

      To view all available data fields for a category, check the Select All checkbox:The Select All checkbox which appears at the top of the list of all data field checkboxes.

    3. Click the Refresh View button

  6. Click the Save View button:The green, rectangular Save View button which appears below the Support button.

  7. Enter a View Name:The View Name field on the Save View modal.

  8. Click the Private to Me button (if not already selected):The white, rectangular Private to Me button which appears below the View Name field.

  9. If desired, check the My Default View checkbox to make this the default view of your Analytics module:The My Default View checkbox in the lower-left corner of the Save View modal.

  10. Click the Save View button to save your custom view:The green, rectangular Save View button in the lower-right corner of the Save View modal.

  11. Your custom view will now appear as an option in your Views dropdown under My Saved Views:The Views dropdown menu with an example custom view within the My Saved Views section highlighted.


Rename a Custom View

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the Analytics module:The Analytics module button in the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Click the Views dropdown list and select the desired custom view from the My Saved Views section:An example custom view in the Views dropdown menu.

  4. Click the Manage View button:The green, rectangular Manage View button below the User Menu icon.

  5. Edit the View name in the Rename View field:The Manage View modal Rename View field.

  6. Click the Save View button:The green, rectangular Save View button in the lower-right corner of the Manage View modal.

  7. Your edited custom view will appear as an option in your Views dropdown under My Saved Views:The renamed example view within the Views dropdown menu.


Delete a Custom View

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the Analytics module:The Analytics module button in the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Click the Views dropdown list and select the custom view you wish to delete under My Saved Views:An example custom view in the Views dropdown menu.

  4. Click the Manage View button:The green, rectangular Manage View button below the User Menu icon.

  5. Click the Delete button:The white, rectangular Delete Button with a red trash can icon in the lower-left corner of the Manage View modal.

  6. Click the Delete View button on the Delete View popup that appears to confirm the deletion:The Delete View popup and red, rectangular Delete View button.

  7. The custom view has been deleted
