Released Enhancements
Snippet Grouping and Improved Organization
In response to user feedback, we have introduced a feature that allows clerks and staff to organize snippets into customizable subgroups, making it easier to find and manage snippets during the creation process. This enhancement provides a more structured and intuitive way to work with snippets, improving navigation and efficiency.
Here are some of the key features for this enhancement:
Snippet Grouping: Users can now organize snippets into predefined categories, such as Minutes, Agenda Scripts, Email, Tasks, and All. These groups are displayed in the Froala Editor based on the way they are set up in the Text Snippets page.
Dropdown Menu: When adding or editing a snippet, users can select a group from a dropdown menu. The groups are visible in the snippet selection pop-ups.
Order and Visibility: Snippets not assigned to a group will appear first in the list, followed by items organized within their respective groups. The order of snippets in the Froala dropdown list has been improved for a better user experience.
Group Management: Users can add, edit, and delete snippet groups. Snippets within a group can be moved, and all items in that group will be moved together.
Email Notification System Enhancements
To keep users informed and help them stay on top of their tasks, items, and comments, we've introduced an enhanced email notification system. This feature ensures users receive email alerts for relevant actions assigned to them, as well as updates in the notification center.
Email Notifications are disabled by default for all new customers but can be enabled at any time. Customers who currently have notifications enabled can use these features immediately.
Here are some of the key features for this enhancement:
Email Notifications for Specific Actions:
Users will now receive email notifications for:
Items assigned to them for approval (or when they are a backup approver).
Tasks created and assigned to them (or when they are selected in the "Notify" field).
Comments added to an item where the user is @mentioned, or for all comments on items they've created.
Active Notification Count Reset:
Once users mark all notifications as read, the active notification count will reset to zero. The count will accurately reflect the number of new notifications once a new alert arrives.
Updated Notification Details:
Notification text has been updated, changing "New" to "Unread" for clarity.
The "View Notification" button is now simply labeled "View" for a more streamlined experience.
Long notification text that wraps onto a new line will be truncated with an ellipsis ("...") to maintain readability.
