Stream to CivicPlus Media and YouTube Live

Prev Next

Customers with CivicPlus Media can send a stream to Agenda and Meeting Management Select and have that stream sent to both CivicPlus Media and YouTube simultaneously. This article will explain how to set up the integration, as well as how to manage the concurrent stream in CivicPlus Media.

Important Notes

  • You must have both CivicPlus Media and YouTube Live to use this feature.

  • It is not possible to send streams from YouTube to Agenda and Meeting Management Select/CivicPlus Media because YouTube does not support sending out RTMP streams.

  • If you use this streaming option without also using Agenda and Meeting Management Select, CivicPlus Media will not record your event for future playback.

Set Up Simultaneous CivicPlus Media and YouTube Streaming

We recommend that customers have multi-streaming enabled so that we can set up the YouTube stream to work for one of the available CivicPlus Media stream keys. You must contact Support to activate or disable multi-stream functionality.

To set up streaming to both YouTube and CivicPlus Media, you will need to provide Support with the following information from your YouTube Studio Live Streaming page:
