Use the Dashboard Homepage Filters

The Dashboard (formerly MyClerk) homepage has many filters that assist in locating content. This article will show you how to use the Dashboard homepage filters.

Important Notes

  • Items and approvals are sorted by the next upcoming meeting’s date first.

  • Tasks are sorted with the next upcoming task by the Task Due Date.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already

  2. Ensure that you are viewing your Dashboard homepage:

  3. Select your desired filters:

    • View: Narrow down who owns the items/approvals/tasks that are returned in the results list

      • Me: Content that belongs to the current user

      • Everyone: Content that belongs to all users

      • Department: Content that belongs to all users in a specific department

      • User: A dropdown that lets you choose one specific user to search, and more importantly, this allows you to access the ‘People I Back up’ selection, which shows you any pending approvals that you are a backup for

    • For: Filter content by all upcoming dates, the next 60 days, the next 30 days, a custom date range, all dates, or content with no agenda assigned

    • Show: Select or deselect options in the Show menu to include or remove results of that type from the filter

      • Items: Include or exclude items

      • Approvals: Include or exclude approvals

      • Tasks: Include or exclude tasks

      • Include Completed: Check this checkbox to include completed items/approvals/tasks in the filter search

        Note:

        Selected Show options appear as white buttons, while deselected Show options appear as gray buttons.

  4. Click the Search button:

  5. Filtered results will appear below the Show filters:

  6. Click the Items, Approvals, or Tasks buttons to toggle the type of results displayed:

    • Only one type of result displays at a time

    • The Items, Approvals, and Tasks buttons are only visible if they’ve been selected as part of the Show filters
