View & Manage Appointments in Boards and Committees

This article will show you how to view individuals' appointments in the Boards and Committees module.

Important Note

This article provides instructions on how to view current and past appointments and how to make some edits to past appointments. For comprehensive instructions on how to manage appointments, view our Add and Manage Board Roster Members in Boards and Committees article.

View a Current or Past Appointment

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Boards and Committees option:The User Menu with the Boards and Committees option highlighted.

  3. Click the People tab:A People tab with a person icon to the right of the solution logo.

  4. Click the name of the person whose appointments you wish to view:An example user name.

  5. Navigate to the Appointments tab:The Appointment tab in the left navigation menu.

  6. View the person's Current Appointment(s) at the top of the screen, if applicable:The Current Appointments section.

  7. Scroll past the person's current appointment(s) to view their Past Appointment(s) if applicable:The Past Appointments section.


Edit a Past Appointment

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Boards and Committees option:The User Menu with the Boards and Committees option highlighted.

  3. Click the People tab:A People tab with a person icon to the right of the solution logo.

  4. Click the name of the person whose appointments you wish to view:An example user name.

  5. Navigate to the Appointments tab:The Appointment tab in the left navigation menu.

  6. Scroll to the Past Appointments section:The Past Appointments section.

  7. Click the Edit button to the right of the past appointment you wish to update:The blue, rectangular Edit button next to an example past appointment.

  8. Update the Past Appointments fields as desired:The Past Appointments information fields.

    • Board: Select the board or committee that applies to this appointment

    • Status: Select the status of the person

    • Position/Seat: Auto-generates position number for this appointment

    • Appointed By: Choose who/what appointed this person

    • Term: Select the term that this appointment applies to

    • Role: Select the role of the person

    • Appointment Date: Enter or update the date of appointment

    • Term Start/End Date: Enter or update the start date and end date of this term

    • Resignation Date: Enter or update the date of resignation (if applicable)

    • Note: Enter or update any additional notes

  9. Click the Save button to save your changes:The green, rectangular Save button to the right of an example past appointment.

  10. The past appointment has been saved


Delete a Past Appointment

  1. Sign in to your solution if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Boards and Committees option:The User Menu with the Boards and Committees option highlighted.

  3. Click the People tab:A People tab with a person icon to the right of the solution logo.

  4. Click the name of the person whose appointments you wish to view:An example user name.

  5. Navigate to the Appointments tabThe Appointment tab in the left navigation menu.

  6. Scroll to the Past Appointments section:The Past Appointments section.

  7. Click the Edit button to the right of the past appointment you wish to delete:The blue, rectangular Edit button next to an example past appointment.

  8. Click the Delete button:The red, rectangular Delete button next to an example past appointment.

  9. Click the OK button on the pop-up that appears to confirm the deletion:The blue, rectangular OK button on the Google Chrome Confirm Delete popup.

  10. The past appointment has been deleted
