Add Custom Code to the Page Footer

This article will show you how to add custom code to a content container in the page footer.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your website solution

2. Navigate to the page you would like to add custom code to

3. Ensure that the Live Edit toggle is set to on:

4. Hover over the footer container that you wish to edit and click the Container Inheritance Options button:

   • Note: For an entire section, edit the Container from which all other containers are inherited. In this example you would select the Go to Interior - Layout Page option:

   • Note: For one specific page, select the Stop Inheritance option to disable Container inheritance for the footer:

5. Select the Start With A Copy of the Current Container option:

6. On the Live Edit Pane, select the Widgets tab:

7. On the Widgets tab, select the Content tab:

8. From the Content tab options, click and drag a Custom HTML widget to the footer area:

9. Add whatever custom code is desired to the Custom HTML widget:

10. Click the Done button:

11. Click either the Save or Save as Copy button:

    • Save: This saves the current changes to the page

    • Save as Copy: This saves the current changes to the page as a new version
