This article shows you how staff users can sign in to your Municipal Websites Central site using CivicPlus Single Sign-On.

Important Notes:

Instructions

  1. Navigate to your site

  2. Add /admin at the end of the URL (Example: websitedomain.com/admin) to be directed to the login screen

  3. Enter your Email Address in the Email field:The 'Email' field on the CivicPlus sign-in screen.

    • Remember me: Check to prevent the ending of your authentication session when closing your browser window.

  4. Click Continue:The 'Continue' button highlighted on the CivicPlus sign-in screen.

    Note: If your organization uses a Custom Identity Provider for sign-ins, you will be redirected to your organization's sign-in screen after clicking Continue. Once you have signed in, you will be redirected to your dashboard as depicted in Step 7.

  5. Enter your Password:The 'Password' field highlighted on CivicPlus' sign-in screen.

  6. Click Sign In:A highlighted 'Sign In' button on CivicPlus' sign in screen.

  7. You will be directed to your organization's Resident Portal page:An example of a website's Resident Portal.

  8. (Optional) Click Dashboard in the toolbar at the top of the page to view the dashboard for your site:The 'Dashboard' button in your organization's administration bar.
