Create a New Notify Me® Message

Prev Next

This article will show you how to create a new message or item within a mailing list in Notify Me®.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrators | Owners | Publishers | Authors

Important Notes:

  • To help ensure scheduled messages are accurate, Web Central modules allow only one scheduled notification at a time.

  • If a site user modifies and saves an item that already has a scheduled notification, a new notification window will appear. Any notification settings entered will overwrite the existing scheduled notification.

  • For example, a site user may edit the Tomato Festival calendar event to move it to a later date because of the weather. When the user saves the event, a notification window will appear. The user must complete the notification settings again. These settings should reflect the changes made to the event. If the user selects Don't Send, the previously scheduled notification is canceled. No new notification will be created or sent.
