Delete a Blog Category

This article will show you how to delete a Blog category.

Important Note:

Ensure there are no items in the category. For more information, visit our Delete a Blog Posting article.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner

Instructions

1. Navigate to Modules > Content > Blog

2. Select Choose an Action > Unpublish next to the category you would like to delete

3. Select Choose an Action > Delete

4. Select OK for the pop-up asking, Are you sure you want to delete this category?

   Note:

   Deleting categories does not notify subscribers of those categories. You are encouraged to delete subscribers before deleting the category.
